At the risk of fanning the flames of a nascent religious war, I'd
like to point out that both ghostscript and ghostview are available
for many (all?) Unix platforms, including Linux (for free!).
No need to miss either of them.

I was mired in poor syntax. One of these exists for the Mac, too,
but I consider it too buggy to bother with. What I meant was that
I missed Ghostscript on unix when I went back to the Mac. I also
missed the excellent text editor vi on unix - NOT!
