Is not what is commonly called "weight" the difference between gravitational
force and centripetal, the shuttle (or any object in orbit) being a case where
the two are equal. There being nothing left over, the objects are "weightless".
Of course, for some objects "weightless" could mean very far from the earth.
Is not the origin of "north pole" for magnets from "leading stone" or "north
seeking pole" and over time the "seeking" got left out. Historian, help, help!
