Re: maple animation in acoustics class

Comments, or similar activities being done?

I must put in a plug here for one of my colleagues' book, "A Laboratory
Manual for Nonlinear Physics With Maple for Scientists and Engineers"
by Richard H. Enns and George McGuire. While this book is intended for
use by advanced students, it is useful for anyone who knows the physics
and wants to learn Maple by following the examples of others. Another
book, "Maple V by Example" by Martha L. Abell and James P. Braselton
approaches Maple using more elementary examples.

The Enns and McGuire book is used here at SFU as the textbook in a
nonlinear physics course designed by Richard Enns.
