This one IS NOT Microsoft's fault. HTML is Hypertext Markup Language and is
a creation primarily for the WEB (and you'll recall that Bill G was a little
late on this one).

Unfortunately he made up for it by having IE set up with HTML and/or ms-tnef
attachments unless one is careful to say "no" at the right time. Almost
all offending pieces of email I have seen on 6 lists come from IE (or some
earlier incarnation). Thus MS *is* "aiding and abetting" at least.
Only the rude and boorish inflict such on those who do not request it.
