Absolutely! And, it seems incumbent on the critical reader or listener to
maintain a healthy skepticism concerning the objectivity of "facts".

As I recall, the original discussion began over Sagan's subtext in
"Contact" - but it's been clear for years just where Carl was coming from
in his philosophy/religion discussions. Less obvious (to the non-critical
reader) are the selective choices of evidence used by "creation
scientists", or "cold fusion" conspiracy theorists!
