A fairly small piece of mesh can create a really loud sound. This implies
that the piece of heated mesh might a powerful audio amplifier. What
would happen if a grid of hot wires was set up with a gentle wind blowing
through it, and then a person spoke into the grid? Wouldn't the sound be
noticalby louder? A fairly large grid might even break into oscillation
and drive the entire classroom at a resonance.
