I thought it was reflection from the retina. Small Cameras,
in which the flash unit is almost at the same location as the lens,
suffer terribly from this problem.
I recently saw at Wal-Mart a "red-eye eliminator." As near as I could
tell, it was a black felt tip pen for $5....
What is the cause of the "red-eye" phenomenon in flash photography?
