Re: lcd display thing

They are called LCD panels. If you can afford it, I highly recommend the
LCD projector, a combination of the LCD panel and the overhead projector.
We have the Epson ELP 3000 and use it 3 times a week for a 2 hour class. It
has a metal halide lamp, very bright. We usually do not lower the lights or
close the shades. All the major vendors have these, Sharp, Infocus, NEC,
etc. They are even coming out with LCD projectors that will project SVGA
graphics.

We have to get one of those lcd devices that sit on top of the OHP and let
you project the display from the computer onto the screen.
(i) What is the generally accepted name for the device?
(ii) Any suggestions as to what kind to get/not to get?

Many thanks, Mark.
