The gravitational pull of rock on the sea floor is reflected in the hills and
valleys (not talking of the swells and waves on the surface due to storms,
etc.) of the sea surface. The data, according to the *Science News* article
that I referred to earlier, talks about newly released data from the U.S.
Geosat satellite and the European Space Agency's ERS-1 satellite.
