Typically they range between 2.5 and % magnitudes but many have variations that are this great, Mira itself has A range of 7.9 magnitudes, R Andromedia
goes from 6 to q
1 14.9 mag. R geminorium is another. They are also not very
stable cycle to cycle as I remember.
