Re: A Simple Radio Circuit

I am reminded of one case when I *did* hear an unexpected AM
radio broadcast. Years ago I was fiddling with a 16mm projector,
where a light shines through the soundtrack onto a reflective

local AM station was distinctly, though faintly, audible through
the loudspeaker. I never did find out what the mechanism was.

We make one-string electric guitars in my class and under the right
conditions we can pick up local AM stations, presumably through the
pick-up coil acting as the antenna.
