If the test would have to be entirely too easy....the post indicated a wide
variety of difficulty levels...an assertion that it may have been "too
wide"...one too easy...the last very difficult.
If the items are normed on college students finishing parallel courses
then the somewhat skewed curve you describe would likely be noticed and
the test revised.....I'm sure there are Physicists involved to ensure the
process is done right. The Chief Reader's are normally established University
profs who have the right credentials for such things.
