RE: AP Physics B Exam



Except that if a test is too easy and then scored on a relative basis, the
penalty for silly and careless mistakes becomes much greater than if the
test were reasonably difficult to begin with. Its the old problem with a
classic 'curve'--99% gets an F if everyone else in the class scores 100%!

[I haven't seen the test yet--so I don't know that it was 'easy'.]

You make a common mistake. If the test is easy, it will require more
correct answers to score a 3, 4 or a 5.

The easy or difficulty of the test is irrelevant since it will be
normed.
