Re: stacked pie pans

Buy a package of aluminum pie pans, the light weight, disposable type. I tried
both the 8 1/2" and the smaller tart size pans. Which ever you use, stack the
pans, upside down on top of the VDG. Turn it on. The weight of the pans keep
them all in place except the top one. Since they all acquire the same charge
the top pan slowly levitates and flies off. Now the one below it no longer has
anything holding it in place and off it goes. They come off rather slowly and
gracefully. Also, they aquire a charge so if they land on an insulating surface
they can be tested with an proof plane and electroscope. Then try them stacked
right side up. They alternate in the direction they take off. It is
spectacular.
