Re: Presidential Awards for Excellence in Science, Math, et al (fwd)

Is this call for presidential award nominations for excellence in 
teaching (the usual presidential award) or is this a new award for some 
kind of mentoring program for under-priveledged students?  It sounds like 
a new program to me, from the initial description.  Is teaching being 
replaced by the word mentoring?
