I'm too old or obstinate to change, but it is tiring to hear
one complaint after another. No wonder many teachers
leave teaching after three years. There seems to be little
satisfaction left in tteaching. Maybe it is because,
retirement in around the corner (3 years), but I don't
think so. When I hear "new" teachers asking about 20 to
25 year buyouts, I have to wonder. 20 to 25 years ago I
looked forward to coming in everday. I still get some
enjoyment from the job, but not as much as I use to. I
still want to produce a quality product, but the raw
material seems to getting a little worse each year.
