Re: WinDIG digitizes graphs

If you have a scanner, then you can generate graphics, and

But recently, I saw a mention of a freeware code that can
digitize graphs lifted from journals or books.
It's called WinDIG. I enjoyed playing with it.
It is a line follower, and can deal
with multiple line colors and multiple input graphic formats,
or even better, can acquire directly from a TWAIN interface.
It works.

It includes the following modest request:

"I would be very glad to know about users of this program.

Sounds great, but you didn't mention if it is available for download
anywhere. So I took a look around and found a page where you can get it
and related programs:

I downloaded the copy there - a self-extracting zip and the program
works quite well. (Norton Antivirus didn't find anything amiss either.)

I should warn people that there is another program with the same name
and description that has a free trial but costs $$$ to register. Don't
get them confused. http://www.petrostudies.com/windig1.htm
