That 11 meter length is almost certainly incorrect. If one takes the
resistivity of tungsten at incandescence instead of room temperature
one will get a more realistic answer. Now I was unable to find such
a number, but it is easy to measure it approximately.. One can find
a value for the room temperature resistivity, and one can measure
the ratio of the room temperatue resistance and the incandescent
resistance. Since the geometry is approximately the same (within a
factor of two or so) the resistivities should have the same ratio.
