The spitting grandpa problem is ambiguously defined as you stated it. The
final speed depends on where the water he drinks comes from. Is this water
stored on board the wheelchair? Is is dropped onto him from above? If it is
given to him from the outside, what is the relative velocity of the incoming
water wrt grandpa? Is some nurse walking/running along side of grandpa with
a feeding tube or what?
