I have a class of about 300 students who are getting weekly grades entered
on a spreadsheet. When I want to combine each week's grades, I find that
the list of students is slightly different because there are a few who miss
that week's assignment. As a result if I just add a new column on the
spreadsheet to update the current week's scores, the missing students cause
a shift in the order such that the rows on the spreadsheet are not properly
aligned.
Does anyone have a suggestion on how I can update the spreadsheet? Is
there a macro I should be using? Is there a database that could accomplish
the same objective?
