Re: [Phys-L] Fwd: Postmaster information for iCloud Mail - Apple Support

Any thoughts on why the Apple iCloud might be wary of forwarding
from the phys-l@mail.phys-l.org address?

I have been having this address forwarded to CVBritton@mac.com - but
the forwarding began being blocked some time ago.

Thought #1: The issue is not restricted to phys-l. I sent a
message to the address in question on Tue, 10 Aug 2021 16:56:49 -0700
and it got blocked. I sent it from my av8n.com domain, not from
the phys-l.org domain.

Thought #2: Similarly, it's not restricted to mailing-list traffic.
The message I sent was a prosaic person-to-person message, without
any of the fancy headers that mailing-list traffic uses.

Thought #3: The phys-l.org mailer is well managed. It carries little
overall traffic and zero abusive traffic. It gets a clean bill of
health from all the rating services I know of; a summary of 93
different blacklists is here:

Thought #4: Apple says you should take it up with them. Specifically:

If you notice that multiple email messages are being delayed,
bounced, or not delivered, contact iCloud Support.
