[Phys-L] acknowledgment

I was reading a recent optics paper today. The fourth author has the name C.G. Poulton.

The last sentence of the Acknowledgment reads: “Finally, we acknowledge O. Poulton, who did her level best to derail the writing of this paper but was ultimately sent to bed.”

Perhaps the author’s young daughter?

I wonder what other humorous acknowledgments of this sort can be found in physics articles?
