[Phys-L] marble race



So I asked a few (high school) students what they did over Spring Break at
home. A senior of mine said he was watching marble races! I was intrigued,
so he sent me the link below. Interesting how the marbles change position
over the ten laps. And if you close your eyes, the announcer makes it sound
like a car race! And that the marbles have some "control" of their movement!

For the video that pops up, there's a neat falling domino intro, and the
race begins around 1:50. See if you can predict the winner early on. (There
are many more videos on this YT channel.) I wanted to share this with the
group for your amusement (and/or physics analysis)! Physics s PHUN!
