The game is essentially unwinnable. Physics says if
the ball misses the pin outbound, it will miss again
inbound. If there were a lot more friction, or if
the pivot supporting the pendulum were moving, then
you would have a chance.
Tossing the ball (so the supporting chain goes
slack) is not allowed.
