Yes, I get the obvious lid idea. I was asking about an open/ceramic coffee
cup that most people use. Step frequency vs diameter and depth of
cup? Should the arms also move to minimize sloshing? etc.

I would think the primary thing would be to alter cadence so you are not
setting up a resonance.
