Of course the important difference between quantum weirdities and irrational number weirdities (and the reason why the latter doesn’t bother anyone) is that quantum weirdities have far reaching practical effects in the behavior of reality - whereas the irrational number weirdity (AFAICT) is purely mental and externally "impotent" (a mystery in itself!).
