Re: [Phys-L] Textbook recommendations

Some school districts/states have adopted the Cutnell/Johnson Physics text for use in high
schools. It is very readable and accessible, especially for an honors course.

Hello,

We are looking to replace one of our text books. It's for a
college-track/honors class but definitely want a high school level book and
definitely algebra-based. Also, would like a more math-y feel than Hewitt.

Does anyone have a book they particularly recommend? Like an easier
version of Wilson's College Physics? (I find that one to be very nicely
written but it's above the level of the group this is intended for.)

Thank you,

Phil
