There is potential for confusion because many keyboard mappings
arrange for shift-backslash to produce the following:
"|"
Unicode Character 'VERTICAL LINE' (U+007C)
HTML entity "|" (no other name)
http://www.fileformat.info/info/unicode/char/7c/index.htm

Motorola "Droid" phones use the Android operating system.

You can get (for free) Android apps that allow you to compose
arbitrary unicode characters. However, most of the time the
easiest procedure is to find a web page that already has the
symbol you want, then cut-and-paste.
