[Phys-L] e-learning and physics education

Hello everyone,

I was thinking about this new direction of e-learning that many
universities have embraced, and was wondering if anyone has looked at how
different instruction methods are impacted by it.  For example, I'd imagine
that some of the JIT techniques would fit well with online learning, but
that peer instruction and modeling might be more of a challenge.  Has
anyone looked at this?   Any particular pitfalls?  Anything that works
particularly well for online learning, possibly with some modification for
the medium?
