WV is lucky to have rejected the science standards ... for whatever 
reason. They are a piece of crap, as is well documented here

But bc should be happy  ... California children will be exposed to them 
... our state board of ed, led by Mike Kirst, has adopted them ... after 
Mike Kirst promised he'd never do such a foolishness.

Oh, well. It's only children, I guess.
