Re: [Phys-L] Intro Physics Lectures Online

Lewin's course: http://ocw.mit.edu/courses/physics/8-01-physics-i-classical-mechanics-fall-1999/ and analogous links to the E&M course and another on waves. (I typically google for "8.01 Lewin" or "8.02 Lewin" or "8.03 Lewin", since those are the course numbers there.) They're also available on YouTube.

They're very much less-than-completely worthless.

Subject: [Phys-L] Intro Physics Lectures Online

All-
A student has asked for recommendations for online introductory physics lectures of the sort typically associated with a calculus-based intro course.  I've never watched any of the available MOOCs (etc) so can't recommend anything in particular.

Any recommendations for him?

(I can google as well as the next person, so I really am looking for positive recommendations from this group -- knowing full well that lectures are completely useless etc. etc. and so on...)

Thanks,
David Craig
