Re: [Phys-L] Phys-L] About soil polarization with CC current

Try a web search using "electrical methods in geophysics"

It sounds like you are needing information on the "electrical polarization method" for which there is much written.

A couple of good sources - pretty much classics:

Keller, G.V.; Frischknecht, F.C., Electrical methods in geophysical prospecting
Pergamon
Publisher/Distributor City: Oxford
AATA Number: 18-184
Date of Publication: 1966

Also Dobrin, Introduction to Geophysicl Methods - I think it is chapter 17.

There are others. These are just what I used way back when.

Hello:

Please, suggest me some literature about measuring the effect of electrolytic polarization in soil, due to passage of electric current, and the subsequent need to acomplish soil resistivity measurements, only with an alternating current. The idea is to give the studients a theorical fundamentation to evaluate the results of labs experimental metering and try to correlate those values with the corresponding theory,

Thanks very much.
