Why the assumption that all choices are ignorant? Why deny choice to those who have done their homework and found a school that they think will be best for their child?

I must be very dense -- "choice" is not a choice when ignorant. Corollary: the ignorant will more likely do themselves more harm when given choice than the enlightened.
