I must be very dense -- "choice" is not a choice when ignorant. Corollary: the ignorant will more likely do themselves more harm when given choice than the enlightened.

Perhaps you are missing much. Otherwise you surely will not object to literacy tests, familiarity with various candidates' positions test, and content of propositions test, before allowing people to vote, right?
