Re: [Phys-L] [SPAM] Re: Comet ISON

Hmmm. I got that info from here:

earthsky.org/space/big-sun-diving-comet-ison-might-be-spectacular-in-2013

which stated:

December 2013. This is likely to be the best month to see Comet ISON,
assuming it has survived its close pass near the sun intact. The comet
will be visible both in the evening sky after sunset and in the morning
sky before sunrise. As ISON’s distance from the sun increases, it’ll
grow dimmer.

Phys-L@Phys-L.org writes:
It's not possible for a comet visible before sunrise (so west of the Sun)
to also be visible after sunset (east of the Sun). In fact, comet ISON
will
be visible only just before sunrise.
