ERRATUM:
It looks like the sentence “Note that TH is also the angle between the
total magnetic force [w]x[B] and the y axis [j]” in my first 2006 post,

, is
in error. It should read:
“Note that TH is also the angle between the total magnetic force [w]x[B] and
the negative x axis [-i].”
Nothing else is affected.
