A*sqrt(g/L) => radians*sqrt [(M/sec^2)/M] =sqrt [1/sec^2] =sec^-1 .

Perhaps you are confusing Xdot with Omega?!?
Xdot is the linear speed.

The equation is a correct small angle approximation.
