Re: [Phys-l] radio station

...actually low power (50W) FM licenses make most sense in Canada, and the students here at Buff State have one too.

I was heavily involved (technically/programatically) as an UG and early graduate student 20(!) years ago.
I don't know current prices/costs or any US regs though, sorry.

Does your school have a radio station (with a broadcast booth and antenna)?
Does your school have an internet radio station?

I realize there are advantages/disadvantage of each type. I know very
little about these things and am trying to get information from those who
have some experience with this. Costs, FCC licenses, and, of course, all
the legal stuff about playing copyrighted music, etc.

Any thoughts (on list or off list) would be much appreciated.
