[Phys-l] position announcement

Assistant Professor of Physics - The Department of Physics at Randolph-Macon College in Ashland, Virginia seeks applications for a tenure-track appointment beginning fall 2011. Demonstrated excellence in teaching both major and general education courses at the undergraduate level is required along with research involving students. The successful candidate will also be expected to contribute to the College's Honors and First Year Experience programs. Ability to teach courses in the Environmental Studies program a plus. Ph.D. in Physics is required at the time of appointment.
