A quibble:

Presumably, the pilot is also inverted when the aircraft is too. So,
Fig 3 should show the accelerometer "right side up" and the landscape
"upside down?" Technically, you have in fact done that, but the view
is from a lab frame rather than the pilot's frame - perhaps that is
what you intended :-)

The pilot should be upside down when viewing figure 3. You can
leave the picture “as is” on your screen and do a handstand :-)

There is enough context in the figure (field, building, plume
of smoke, mountains) to eliminate any ambiguity.
