When I was teaching at the Siriba Teacher Training College near  
Kisumu (Kenya), I thought it'd be interesting to time exposure the  
night sky, as I was less than one degree North.

Somewhere I have the slide, but I do remember noticing various  
coloured trails that I'd only read about!
