Re: [Phys-l] TV Audio and Video out of sync

I assume you are using cable to get your TV. I have a digital box on my main television and analog to the smaller sets around the house. The sound is out of sync with the picture on both the digital and analog, but most pronounced on the digital. It's very annoying to hear the sound out of sync when sets are playing in various rooms. I noticed that the pictures are all in sync on the various sets. I have a roof antenna feeding the set in my workshop (love to have Fox News while doing projects) - the picture and sound are in perfect sync. It appears the delay between picture and sound is a product of the cable.

Subject: [Phys-l] TV Audio and Video out of sync

Has anyone else noticed that many TV broadcasts have
audio and video out of sync? I have only noticed it
recently (within the last year), as we approach all
digital. Was it a problem in the past and I just
wasn't paying attention?
