Re: [Phys-l] Rude? Other mail options

Ken!

Thanks, however, I'm suspicious of Google because of their relationship w/ the Chinese govt. Furthermore, I'd rather have storage on my computer instead of an external server. I understand Firefox and Netscape are Mozilla based, which might make the transition easier. Safari appears to not keep history long. My Netscape history is back to 2004, and, yes, I've referred to it back several years. Bookmarks are equivalently extensive.

Anyone else have suggestions?

bc already knows he's FBI filed, so probably shouldn't worry about Google.

The "overriding" I think is a bug inherent in the Netscape mail app., or
is it a feature from my not knowing how to set up its preferences? The
"clich warning" is my failed attempt at humour, evidently.

bc is planing to switch mail apps. as Netscape is no longer supporting
it. He'll also switch to Safari for the same reason. He invites
suggestions for his mail app. At the moment is considering OS X's "Mail".
