contribute some references which may be of some help:
"The Philosophical Impact of Contemporary Physics" - Milic Capek (Been
on my shelf since undergraduate days; didn't understand much of it then
because I didn't understand much of the physics he references. I've
just re-read it while on sabbatical, and it makes much more sense to
me!)
Several books by Australian physicist Paul Davies - the first two are
popular or student level, the last is aimed at physicists:
"About Time"
"Space and Time in the Modern Universe"
"The physics of time asymmetry"
