Bravo! If anyone has the audacity to question the nearly
religious claims made in reports over the past few days that
the "global warming"
measure over the past 50 years has purportedly been entirely
human induced, they certainly are not going to get funding to
do research from the traditional sources. Thank goodness
there are these few small grants still available from those
who are not true believers - even if they have a vested
interest in debunking the accepted dogma and articles of
faith of the day.

SCIENTISTS OFFERED CASH TO CHALLENGE CLIMATE REPORT
IAN SAMPLE, GUARDIAN, UK - Scientists and economists have been
offered $10,000 each by a lobby group funded by one of the world's
largest oil companies to undermine a major climate change
to be published today. Letters sent by the American Enterpriseto the Bush
Institute an ExxonMobil-funded think tank with close links
administration, offered the payments for articles thatemphasize the
shortcomings of a report from the UN's Intergovernmental Panel onExxon Mobil
Climate Change. The AEI has received more than $1.6m from
and more than 20 of its staff have worked as consultants tothe Bush
administration. Lee Raymond, a former head of Exxon Mobil, is theUN's panel as
vice-chairman of AEI's board of trustees. The letters, sent to
scientists in Britain, the US and elsewhere, attack the
"resistant to reasonable criticism and dissent and prone to summarywork" and ask
conclusions that are poorly supported by the analytical
for essays that "thoughtfully explore the limitations ofclimate model
outputs"._______________________________________________
