Regarding political maturity, academic Physicists beat Engineers and
Chemist by a very long shot and even Biologists.

Perhaps Physics Education Research should be conducted to investigate the average emotional intelligence of physicists. I suspect it is lower than chemists and biologists. And this is one of the contributing factors to the falling enrolment in physics. Often hear more complaints on Physics Lecture than others...
