So is "political science," but that doesn't keep anyone from using
the phrase. Although I would hesitate to apply the term "science" to
history, I think that historians who do the very best work, even if
they don't realize it, are using the methodology of science (evidence
evaluation, hypothesis testing, etc.) in the pursuit of their craft.
Never ask someone what computer they use. If they use a Mac, they
will tell you. If not, why embarrass them?
