I was browsing some implications of John's recent piece on Rotations and
  Reflections, when I came upon this unusual monolog on monopoles

which is due to Getchell. He mentions the Phillipine wineglass motion.
It is a blank verse poem on the intelligent design  (?) aspects of
cosmogenesis.           Don't panic!  - sort of.....
