[Phys-L] Re: Mechanical Universe DVD set

hello

The full series is available thru the internet.

www.learner.org/resources/series42.html<

All the student needs to do is register. There is no cost or further
contact.

I have shown these thru the projection system at my CC and I can stop it
anywhere since we were under computer control.

The students also love this connection as they can later look and catch
something they missed the first time thru.

Subject: Mechanical Universe DVD set

Does anyone have any experience with the Mechanical Universe series on
DVD?
In particular we're interested in whether:

1) quality of the DVD is better than laserdisc
2) they've put any chapter marks in the right places

Thanks for your help.

Sarah
