I found the stonewalling about where the money came from to purchase the ID
texts to be important in understanding the modus operandi of the fundamentalist
extreme right.

In this case, a board member's church raised money to influence the school
board.  The money was given to the board president by that board member.  The
purpose was to purchase the ID books, in order to influence the school board to
do what was in the interest of the church.

Is there any doubt about the lack of separation of church and state (school) as
a result of reading this post?  Jack:  what did you find missing relevancy?
